How to Set Up GeyserMC & Floodgate for Java & Bedrock Crossplay on One Server

Step-by-step tutorial on installing GeyserMC and Floodgate on your Paper, Purpur, or Velocity Minecraft server. Let mobile, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch players join your Java world without a Java account.

In this guide
  1. 1. What Is GeyserMC and Floodgate?
  2. 2. Installation & Port Configuration on Enzonic Cloud

1. What Is GeyserMC and Floodgate?

GeyserMC is a protocol translator that accepts incoming Bedrock Edition packets (UDP port 19132) and translates them on the fly into Java Edition packets (TCP port 25565). Floodgate is a companion plugin that allows Bedrock players to authenticate via their Microsoft/Xbox accounts without needing to purchase a separate Java edition license.

2. Installation & Port Configuration on Enzonic Cloud

1. In your Enzonic panel, navigate to the Plugins Tab or File Manager.

2. Place Geyser-Spigot.jar and floodgate-spigot.jar inside your plugins/ directory.

3. In plugins/Geyser-Spigot/config.yml, configure the bedrock port to match your allocated Enzonic container port, set auth-type: floodgate, and restart your server.
