1. How we compared

We picked one plan size, 8 GB of RAM, because it is a common choice for a small modded server or a busy vanilla SMP. For each host we read the public pricing page on October 11, 2026, and recorded the monthly price in USD before tax, with monthly billing. Where a host advertises a first-month discount, we list it next to the renewal price.

RAM is only one part of a plan. CPU allowance, storage, backups, support and locations differ a lot between hosts, and none of this measures in-game performance. Use the numbers as a starting point, then check what each plan includes. Sources are linked at the end.

2. 8 GB plans, cheapest renewal first

Price per GB is the monthly renewal price divided by 8.

• Enzonic Iron: $4.87 first month, then $6.49/mo ($0.81 per GB) • PebbleHost Budget 8GB: $8.00/mo ($1.00 per GB) • Sparked Host Budget Earth 8 GB: $8.00/mo ($1.00 per GB) • WitherHosting 8GB: $12.00/mo ($1.50 per GB), 5% off with a promo code • PaperNodes Goat Plan: £11.99/mo, about $15.39 ($1.92 per GB), billed in GBP • Shockbyte Budget Mage 8GB: $15.99/mo ($2.00 per GB) • PebbleHost Premium 8GB: $18.00/mo ($2.25 per GB) • Sparked Host Enterprise Neptune 8GB: $20.72/mo ($2.59 per GB) • BisectHosting BisectOne 8GB: $23.99/mo ($3.00 per GB) • GGServers DIAMOND 8192 MB: $19.20 first invoice with a code, then $24.00/mo ($3.00 per GB) • Apex Hosting 8 GB: $20.99 first month with a code, then $27.99/mo ($3.50 per GB) • Shockbyte Emerald 8GB: $31.99/mo list price, or $22.39/mo with a 30% recurring promo code ($2.80 to $4.00 per GB)

  • Budget and premium lines from the same host (PebbleHost, Shockbyte, Sparked Host) usually differ in CPU and hardware, not only in price. Read the plan details before comparing across lines.

3. First month vs renewal

Several hosts advertise a discounted first invoice, often through a promo code. That is a fair deal for trying a host, but the number that matters over a year is the renewal price. For example, an Apex Hosting 8 GB plan is $20.99 for the first month with a code and $27.99 after that, and GGServers is $19.20 for the first invoice and $24.00 after.

Enzonic shows both prices on every plan card: Iron is $4.87 for the first month and $6.49/mo after that.

4. What the Enzonic Iron plan includes

• 8 GB RAM, 600% CPU (up to six cores of compute time), 35 GB SSD • 10 backups, 3 databases, 5 ports • 80 Enzica AI assistant messages per day (optional) • Cloudflare Spectrum DDoS protection, SFTP and web file manager, mod and plugin installers • Unlimited player slots

How we keep prices low: we buy our server hardware outright and self-host it, and add rented VPS capacity when demand needs it. The full breakdown is at https://enzonic.com/how-are-you-so-cheap.

5. Which one should you pick?

If price per GB is your main concern, Enzonic, PebbleHost Budget and Sparked Host Budget are the lowest in this list. If you want a long-established brand with a large support team, the higher-priced hosts may be worth it to you. Either way, compare the renewal price, the CPU allowance and the backup policy, not only the RAM.

You can try Enzonic without paying: the free tier gives you 3.5 GB RAM, 200% CPU and 5 GB SSD at https://enzonic.com/free, and the full plan ladder is at https://enzonic.com/pricing. A side-by-side table with every host is at https://enzonic.com/alternatives.
