Thank you
to everyone who served.
On November 11 we pause to thank veterans and their families. In many countries it is also Remembrance Day, marked with a red poppy and a moment of silence.

About the day
Veterans Day and Remembrance Day
In the United States, Veterans Day honours everyone who has served in the armed forces. It falls on the anniversary of the 1918 armistice, the same date that the Commonwealth and much of Europe keep as Remembrance Day or Armistice Day.
Many people wear a poppy and keep two minutes of silence at 11 a.m. If someone in your family served, today is a good day to call them.
